Module 1: “Culture as a bridge to communicate”

The Learning Unit “Culture as a bridge to communicate” aims to guide the learners to understand the role of communication in delivering cultural messages and, vice versa, how culture affects communication at all levels. Moreover, it will help the achievement of a bigger knowledge on the topics of cultural and age gaps, and the role of mediation in the intergenerational communication process. At the end of the module, the learner will have gained major confidence in intergenerational processes, involving communication and culture, including valuable recommendation on how to overcome cultural barriers. The Module is addressed to adult educators and older people.
